the Game We Play

I hate the abstract-ing of Belief.

Belief solidified by life {thooughts, words, actions; Lifestyle} is real belief. Anything less than this is . . .what? Idealism? A chance for Hipocracy? or simply, Nothingness?

If you think it’s wrong, don’t do it or excuse it.
If you think something needs to be done — and it’s do-able — do it.
If you think something is truth, live by it. Right, promote it.
Practice makes perfect, yes?

I don’t mean to be idealistic. We don’t always know with precision what we believe. It’s difficult to stand firm on something we’re still shaky about. I struggle myself–but that is to be expected! It is only basic to breaking forth; freeing yourself from the womb and entering that bright, bright light and the noise and the harsh air of the living.

I respect the strugglers. . . It is not risk. Anything less than taking common risks is. . . what? Boredom? Being a corpse? an existance of Nothingness? "The weakness of your breed: yet at length  quietness / Will cover those wistful eyes."

People often mistake belief with headiness, fanaticism. { "I believe the same as you do, but I don’t think we need to actually try to do it all"  Or, "I agree with you, but you really shouldn’t mention. . ." Well then what should I do?  It is extreme to live up to all you believe. But then how should I live?

What is the definition of "extereme"?  Doubtless it is a real thing, a bad thing. Temperence, Balance: these are good if you want a sound mind, healthy lifestyle, nice friends. This is what I strive for. But apparently some of the things I perceive as temperate and balanced are seen as compromising by one and extreme by another. How I see myself? {you should know! my blogs are riddles with question-marks :)  I’m Fulfilled and happy, with a lot yet to learn: the universe is big; my local library is too.

Be cautious, be Sure: Are they extreme, or is this just culture-shock I feel?
